THE ROCK: Could you give us your job title and a short description of your responsibilities?
Dr. Blow: I am a minister. As Paul said in Corinthians, I am an Ambassador for Christ. My job is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere. In the last nine months, I have preached everywhere from a store front in South Baltimore to over 750,000 people in Lagos, Nigeria.

THE ROCK: How long have you been doing this type of work?
Dr. Blow:: I have been in ministry since 1994.

THE ROCK: Are you experiencing job fulfillment, and what type of gratification do you get at the end of the day?
Dr. Blow: There is no job more fulfilling then working for the Kingdom of God. To see how the Word of God can bring change, transformation, comfort or healing to any life situation is an awesome thing. I am extremely thankful to God for designing my life for His divine purpose.

THE ROCK:: What college(s) did you attend, and what was your major?
Dr. Blow:: I attended Morgan State for undergrad and I majored in Telecommunications. I attended graduate school at Howard University from where I earned my Master's and Doctorate degrees.

THE ROCK: What are some of your personal achievements?
Dr. Blow: My personal acheivement was being able to marry the girl of my dreams. My wife is my homie, my lover and my friend. So after "I achieved" her, the Lord blessed me with my sons. I consider them great achievements.

THE ROCK: What are some of your professional achievements?
Dr. Blow: Wow! The Lord has really blessed me with some awesome assignments and opportunities in ministry. In addition, I have been featured on C-Span. Two years ago, the African American Pulpit journal listed me as one of the twenty young minister to watch in the U.S.A.

THE ROCK: What books do you recommend for self-enhancement?
Dr. Blow: The Bible and a devotional entitled Open Heavens by E.A. Adeboye

THE ROCK:: Who are some of your personal heroes and/or heroines?
Dr. Blow: 1. Jesus Christ
2. The arch angel Michael
3. My father, Emanuel Blow
4. My brother, Michael Blow
5. Malcom X
6. Michael Eric Dyson
7. Dr. Jamal-Harrison Bryant
8. Pastor E.A. Adeboye
9. Nat Turner

THE ROCK: What career goals did you set for yourself?
Dr. Blow: To put 100% of myself into every endeavor.

THE ROCK: What were your parents like when it came to education and choosing a career?
Dr. Blow: Extremely supportive and affirming.

THE ROCK: Any other family members with college degrees, and what are they doing today?
Dr. Blow: My wife is also a minister and she has more degrees than a thermometer. My brother is a graduate of UMBC and Johns Hopkins and is currently a major on the Prince Georges County Maryland Police Dep't

THE ROCK: Did you play sports growing up, and were you a leader as a child?
Dr. Blow: I play minor sports. I ice skated, roller skated and
bowled. Reflecting back, I do believe that I was a leader as a child.

THE ROCK: Do you consider yourself a leader?
Dr. Blow: YES!

THE ROCK: Tell us about your career field and what is so interesting about it to you?
Dr. Blow: Ministry is an awesome field because you deal with people. Life affects people differently everyday, so ministry is different everyday. Consequently, each day brings new challenges and opportunities to bring light to the people of the planet.

THE ROCK: If you had to do something else for a living, what would it be?
Dr. Blow: Some people tell me that if I was not a minister, I could probably survive as a comedian. When I was called into ministry I was studying to work in radio.

THE ROCK: If you wrote a book, what would it be about? Why?
Dr. Blow: My first book will be released in 2007 and it is a book about LOVE.

THE ROCK: If you could be anybody else in the world, who would it be? Why?
Dr. Blow: Nobody, I appreciate who God has created me to be.

THE ROCK: If you were the President of the United States, how would you handle some of the world crisis that we are presently involved in?
Dr. Blow: I would fall on my knees and seek the wisdom and guidance of Jesus Christ.

THE ROCK: What advice would you give students entering college?
Dr. Blow: Avoid the easy professors and seek out the "hard" ones. You are paying good money for school. Get your money's worth. It is the professors that I considered tough that I most appreciate now. Don't skate through school, because you cannot skate through life.

THE ROCK: If you were a keynote speaker for a high school graduating class, what would be your subject matter?
Dr. Blow: I would tell the graduating class, do not fall for the okey doke. The okey doke is the way of easy money and fast women/or men. It is the way that leaves you broke, busted and disgusted and it is not that path that God would have you to go in.

Dr. Blow: Jerry Sampson asked me to participate in this interview and I really had a lot of fun. Thank you Jerry for this opportunity.
